Privacy policy
This policy explains what data Marktek collects when you visit its website and use its platform, why it collects it, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and your rights over it.

1.Who we are
Marktek is a digital marketing, AI and growth systems company working in Türkiye, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. It runs the website marktek.pro and the apps platform on it, and it is responsible for the data of website visitors and of its customers' accounts.
2.What this policy covers
This policy covers website visitors, people who ask for a session or a subscription, and the members of companies that use the platform. The data a company enters in its apps about its customers, contacts and employees belongs to that company: we process it on its behalf and on its instructions only, and never use it for any purpose of our own.
3.The data we collect
We collect what you type into our forms yourself, such as your name, email, phone number, company name and message. When you create an account we keep your name, your email, your password hashed so it cannot be reversed, and your two-step verification settings. We record limited technical data to protect the service, such as the browser type and the time of a request, and we keep IP addresses only in a pseudonymized form that does not reveal the address itself. We also keep the source and language of a visit to learn how you reached us.
4.Why we use your data
We use your data to answer your request and arrange your session, to create your account and run the service you subscribed to, to send necessary service messages such as invitations, password resets and alerts, to protect the platform from unauthorized access and abuse, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
5.Legal basis
We process data with your consent when you send a form or agree to email or WhatsApp messages, to perform the contract when you use the platform, for our legitimate interest in protecting and improving the service, and where the law requires it. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what came before.
6.Who we share data with
We share data only as far as needed with providers that work for us: Hostinger to host the server and the database, Google to send system email through Gmail, Brevo to send the email campaigns companies launch, and Meta to send WhatsApp messages when a company connects its number. Each of them must protect the data and may not use it for its own purposes. We may disclose data when a competent authority lawfully requires it.
7.Transfers outside your country
Data may be stored or processed outside your country, because the server and the service providers work in different countries. For every transfer we make sure of suitable safeguards, as the applicable data protection laws require.
8.How long we keep data
We keep request and account data for as long as it is needed to serve you or your account is active. When an account is closed or you ask for deletion, we delete the data or make it anonymous, except what the law requires us to keep longer. Backups are kept for 14 days and then deleted automatically.
9.How we protect data
We send all data over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), keep each company's data apart from others, encrypt stored keys and secrets, and require two-step verification for platform administrators. Each member reaches only what their permissions allow. No protection is perfect, but we review our measures continually.
11.Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you and get a copy of it, to correct it, to ask for its deletion or restricted processing, to object to its processing, to withdraw your consent, and to unsubscribe from marketing messages through the link in each one. We honour these rights under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law, and Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law. We answer your request within 30 days, and you may complain to the data protection authority in your country.
12.Children
The website and the platform are meant for businesses, not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
13.Changes to this policy
We may change this policy when the service or the law changes, and we publish the new version here with its date. If a change is significant, we tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
